Not much to write about today, as it was a driving day. We headed back to Reykjavík from Akureyri, with a slight detour north to Sauðárkrókur to see the Tannery Centre that we had to miss when we stayed there before, as we needed to leave early for our whale tour. At this centre they make a lot of things out of fish leather (from salmon), and Michael really wanted to get a flask covered with that. As it turned out, not only was he able to get a flask he liked, but also a bow tie!
Ended the day with a walk into town to stretch our legs after the long drive. Tomorrow is our much anticipated trip down into a dormant volcano, so I'm sure there will be more interesting news after that!
